THE RULES FOR THE USE OF TIME-LIMITED – NOT GUARDED – CAR PARK

Informative extract from Municipal Decree No. 17/2019 (VI. 19.) of the Municipality of Budakeszi on time-limited parking regulations and the exclusive use of car parks:

  • Parking in the time-limited parking zone on working days between 8 AM and 12 PM is only permitted by using a time disc for a maximum of 2 (two) hours in compliance with the traffic regulations and this Municipal Decree. On non-working days, and from 12 noon on 23 December to 8 am on 2 January of the following year, the time-limited parking zone is available without a time limit.
  • The time disc must be placed behind the windscreen of the vehicle, clearly visible and legible from the outside, and set to the time at which the vehicle begins to wait.
  • Time-limited parking areas are to be used at own risk and are not considered as a guarded car park.

Exempt from the time limit:

  • Anyone in possession of a valid Budakeszi Town Card (the Budakeszi Town Card must be clearly visible from the outside and clearly legible on the dashboard behind the windscreen of the vehicle. The Budakeszi Town Card can be obtained from the Budakeszi Mayor’s Office during opening hours; the purchase price is specified in the relevant Municipal Decree).

The exemption is granted:

  • To the operator or owner for the duration of business loading for a maximum of 2 hours, provided that the start of the waiting period is indicated by a time disc behind the windscreen of the vehicle.
  • To the holder of a parking permit issued in accordance with the provisions of this decree, subject to the rules set out in the permit.
  • To the user of a car park for exclusive use with the owner’s permission.
  • For the electric vehicle at the charging station for the duration of the charging process.
  • To vehicles of a company that has been commissioned by the municipality to provide public catering services and for which the Mayor’s Office of Budakeszi has issued a waiting permit.

The time-limited parking zone may not be used:

  • By vehicles or trailers specifically for advertising or promotional purposes.
